When the body makes weight loss difficult to achieve
You’ve tried every diet fad, exercised till your lungs gave out, tried diet pills, followed a healthy eating program, but to no avail. You haven’t really lost weight, and you’re inclined to think that you might have even gained more, but you can’t be bothered to check the scale. This is a problem for a great number of people, and what a lot of them don’t realize is that their overweight state (even obesity) may actually be triggered by a medical condition — hormonal imbalance may cause uncontrollable weight gain and may cause a person to be unable to lose weight.
Hormonal imbalance and obesity
If you think you’ve done everything you could to lose weight, but nothing ever works, maybe it’s time for a visit to the doctor to have your hormones checked. It is frustrating to try so hard at something, only to be unable to succeed time and again, but maybe it’s not that you fail, but because there’s actually something wrong with your body. A lot of people suffering from obesity actually have hormonal imbalance disorders as the underlying cause for their inability to lose weight.
Disorders that hormonal imbalance like hypothyroidism slows down metabolism and triggers weight gain. This might be the reason why all your weight loss gimmicks never succeed. Once you’ve been correctly diagnosed and when you receive proper treatment for whatever hormone disorder you have, you would be able to work that weight off, have the body you’ve always wanted, and live healthy.
