Squats
Up-down, up-down you go. The humble squats, though dreaded by many, is one of the most simplest ways to effectively build up your strength. Building up your lower body strength can lead to a whole lot of good for you. Stamina is built up, allowing you to go the extra mile (whether for work, or if you do want to try out some more complex exercise routines). The best part of doing the squats routine is that you can do it anywhere. All you need to do is enough room to stand, then you can go pump up that hamstrings. Simple, right? For an added boost, you may want to lift small weights as well when you squat. Just make sure to adjust yourself – go for lighter weights before progressing on to heavier ones.
Push-Ups
Give me 50! So does some typical drill sergeant say to punish soldiers. Yet this kind of punishment, which can be done in the safety and comfort of your home, does have its benefits. Upper body strength is built up with this routine, allowing you to shape up your chest and arms. It’s also a great way to get you up in the morning! To motivate you even more, imagine the great Bruce Lee and his one hand push-ups. Just the thought of him doing something hard so easily will get you to push even harder!
Sit-Ups
It’s ripped – your abs, that is. Build up that flat stomach by doing sit-ups. The satisfying crunch dealt by this exercise is oh so good, when you realize how great you’ll look like. Imagine how great you’d look like when you show off your shaped stomach! Sit-ups will work well with beer drinkers – you’d always want to lose that unwanted flabs, right?
Doing exercises doesn’t need to be that hard. Heck, you wouldn’t even need to go to the gym! All you need are these simple exercises to get that body you’ve always been dreaming of.
